What is the difference of Overtime work and Restday work?
Overtime work refers to the additional hours an employee works beyond their regular working hours. Restday work, also known as work on a day off or working on a designated rest day, refers to performing work duties on a day that is typically considered a day off for an employee.
Can all employees apply for an Overtime Work?
There are no policies prohibiting an employee to apply for an Overtime Work. Although, it is in the discretion of your immediate superior if you should or if you are allowed or eligible to file for an Overtime Work.
How to apply for an Overtime Work?
Go to the Attendance Module ( https://nmsattendance.nmsapps.com/ ) > My Extra Work > My Overtime Work > Fill out the Apply Overtime Work form. After filling out the form, click Submit
Who approves Overtime Works?
Overtime Works are being approved/rejected/cancelled by your immediate superior.
How to apply for a Restday Work?
Go to the Attendance Module ( https://nmsattendance.nmsapps.com/ ) > My Extra Work > My Restday Work > Fill out the Apply Restday Work form. After filling out the form, click Submit
Who approves Restday Works?
Restday Works are being approved/rejected/cancelled by your immediate superior.
When filing for an Overtime Work, some days are grayed out. What does this mean?
Previous dates are intentionally grayed out since you should not file for an Overtime Work for previous dates. Future dates that are grayed out means that you have no roster or work schedule for those days.
