Finance: Payroll Issues

Description:

Finance Staff reported that they were unable to upload production stats. The issue began after the hired date of an operator was changed. The operator was initially included in the first upload. After removing the operator and attempting to reupload, the upload would not proceed.

Findings:

• The Finance staff uploaded the production stats including an employee who is not currently hired based on the updated records.

• The issue happened because the staff was not notified on time that the operator’s hired date was changed.

• Due to this late notification, the system’s process for fetching user details did not meet the required date conditions, causing the employee to be filtered out and resulting in an upload conflict during reupload.
  

Actions Taken / Resolution:

• Developer manually deleted the affected user’s production stats entry from the database table to remove the conflicting record.

• After deletion, Finance was able to proceed with the reupload successfully.

• Advised Finance team to ensure updated hire dates are confirmed before uploading production stats.
